Age Happens. In their lifetime of careers, achievements and volunteer work, each of our Elders has touched many lives as they journeyed to Kinsmen Lodge. They inspire us and it’s an honour to provide their care.
Kinsmen Lodge has a rich and proud history of serving Elders in the Surrey community since 1975. We’re governed by the Whalley & District Senior Citizens Housing Society, a non-profit organization which was incorporated in 1961.
We are located at 9650 137A Street, right across from Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC. We are near shopping, the University, transit and lots of restaurants. Between our day trips, programs that bring in local school children, service groups, a variety of entertainment and lots of pop-ins from family and friends, our Elders stay connected to the community.
We are home to 144 residents, 120 staff, 100 volunteers, 6 birds, 4 cats, 3 rabbits and a beautiful garden tended and enjoyed by all of us.
Kinsmen Lodge is as much like home as we can make it – with people who want to live life! In our home, residents socialize, paint, garden, volunteer and worship. So come on in and learn about our care and our team, browse our family album and read our life stories. Together our Elders have over 13,000 years of living and making a difference, so we’ve got lots of stories to share about a lot of wonderful lives!
